Established in the 1950s, Eastern opens its first silversmith shop in the lower Eastside of Manhattan. Sterling silver items geared to the wholesale gift markets have become their hallmarks. In the 1990s, they branches into holloware and buffetware for the hotel industry by opening its own silverplating shop.
